How It All Works
The awards process continues to evolve each year, taking account of feedback from entrants and judges to ensure that the process is as fair as possible with maximum benefits to all concerned. In parallel, with no public funding to support the awards, we keep a very close eye on costs and work closely with sponsors and supporters.
The following pages cover the key strands within the awards programme, which covers the counties of Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Bath, Bristol, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
Cornwall and Devon businesses
If your business is based in Cornwall or Devon, you must enter the Cornwall or Devon Tourism Awards for all but a few categories which are only run at the South West level. Finalists from the Cornwall Tourism Awards and Devon Tourism Awards will automatically be ‘fast-tracked’ into the judging for the South West awards.
Businesses from the rest of the region – the Isles of Scilly, Dorset, Somerset, Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire – should enter direct into the South West awards.
